More than 22,000 surgeries will move from hospital-based operating rooms to the lower cost, more convenient surgery centers.Moving surgeries from a hospital to outpatient sites is a rare move for most health systems as reimbursement is higher in a hospital setting, he said."Many health systems won't disrupt themselves," Holderman said.
