ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – For the 21st year in a row, Presbyterian Hospital has received the 2016/2017 Consumer Choice Award for Albuquerque from National Research Corporation. The annual award identifies hospitals across the country healthcare consumers choose as having the highest quality and image.
“At Presbyterian, we have been committed to improving the health of New Mexicans since 1908,” said Sandra Podley, Administrator, Presbyterian Hospital. “We are proud that the people of Albuquerque have recognized our commitment to their care for 21 years and honored us with this award. Thank you to the many providers and care teams who have made this achievement possible.”
This is the 21st year National Research has recognized hospitals for their high quality care and is the 21stth year Presbyterian Hospital has won. Only 32 other hospitals across the nation have this distinction.
“For each of the past 21 years, winning hospitals have provided outstanding experienced that have transcended their four walls to drive consumer preference, trust, and loyalty in their markets. We are honored to congratulate this year’s winners on a job well done,” said Brian Wynne, Market Insights General Manager at National Research.
Winners are determined by consumer perceptions on multiple quality and image ratings collected in National Research’s Market Insights survey, the largest online consumer healthcare survey in the country. National Research surveys more than 300,000 households in the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia. Hospitals named by consumers are analyzed and ranked based on Core Based Statistical Areas defined by the U.S. Census Bureau, with winning facilities being ranked the highest.
